We held our Annual Christmas Competition in-person in the upstairs room of the Bell Inn, Hampton on Wednesday 15^th January.  Thirteen Members and Guests attended to watch our judge, Eddie Hyde FRPS comment on 23 images from eight Members and select the best three for vote by the members.

In the first round of voting two images tied for first place.  A second vote to separate these two images resulted in a second tie, so Eddie Hyde selected the winning image – ‘Flaming Amaryllis’ by Rosie Littlemore.  Judy Hicks was second with ‘Standing out in Turquoise’ and Penny Westmoreland third with ‘Lavender Girls, Mayfield’.  The formal evening ended with Eddie presenting the Mike Hammond Trophy to Rosie. 

Following the judging, we all socialised with a selection of Pizzas and drinks.
