Image selection for our entry into the SPA Interclub PDI Competition
This meeting is to select our entries as a club into the SPA Interclub PDI competition. So we would like you to bring along five or six of your best images and we as a group will vote to select the 16 images as our entry into the “Open” Competition.
For the first time, we are planning to also enter the “Nature” Competition but images have to meet strict criteria. Members wishing to enter this category too should bring five or six images although we only need 8 images in all.
Reminder: the new membership year starts this month so any members who have not yet paid the annual fee are requested to bring it to the meeting.
NB: only fully paid-up members can enter competitions.
Members have received details on how to provide their images to Dropbox in an email from me on 9th April. Please upload your images in advance of the meeting by 8pm on Tuesday 16th.
Last Month
Annual General Meeting and Members explaining their Exhibition Pictures
Our AGM covered all the technical details about running the Society in just over half an hour. Paul Ryan volunteered to join the Committee to take over as Treasurer so that Martin can stand down. All the other Committee Members are continuing for the next year.
We all enjoyed Members explaining why they had chosen their images for the Exhibition and some background on how they came to be taken in the first place.
