This should not last very long, so the remainder of the evening will be looking at other Member’s photographs which they have uploaded to share. This is always an interesting and entertaining look into other photographers work!

FEBRUARY MEETING IN PERSON at the BELL INN
Wednesday February 15th at 8pm
Sarah Titcombe presented on the making of “Frozen Planet 2”. (Sarah is Committee Member Charles’s daughter.) She gave a spellbinding insight into behind the scenes of those segments of the series she was on site creating the records as an Assistant Producer. She gave a very personal insight into the challenges of being a small team in a very remote location; she gave an added dimension to those scenes we see at the end of the broadcast programme. I think we all enjoyed meeting “the world’s grumpiest cat!”

APRIL MEETING IN PERSON at the BELL INN
Wednesday 19th April at 8pm
“Blowing hot and cold” a talk by Rene de Heer
Rene will be at the Bell Inn to give his latest presentation of nature photography in Winter in Scandinavia and Spring and Summer in Spain.
SPA ANNUAL INTERCLUB PDI COMPETITION
Saturday 13th May at 2pm
If we decide to enter, the closing date for entries is Saturday 22nd April. Whether we enter or not, all Members are able to attend the judging event.
