EDDIE HYDE ARPS – A COMPREHENSIVE EXPLORATION OF THE CREATIVE USE OF SHUTTER SPEED
Location: ONLINE
Eddie Hyde ARPS has been a lifelong photography enthusiast, starting as a small boy with a Kodak Brownie. He is now an Associate of the RPS and an SPA Judge. He has been widely published and won many awards: you can find out more about Eddie from his website here: Eddie Hyde Photography : Eddie Hyde ARPS (zenfolio.com)
Tonight he will share with us his presentation on Motion Capture. He will cover a wide range of topics ranging from Motor Sport through cycling, planes, birds of prey, runners, breaking waves, cascading water, and more – sharing the ‘How To…’ and showing the results of varying the shutter speed in order to better tell our story.
This should be a great evening with opportunities to pick up tips and tricks along the way.

LAST MONTH’S MEETING
Wednesday, 18th August
Members’ Picture Sharing This was a change or our originally advertised programme, but the evening was much enjoyed by those present, many of whom brought along pictures taken during our series of summer walks. It is always interesting to see how people interpret places and what things stand out for them during a photo walk. It is also a good way to get to know your fellow members and learn hints and tips from them!
FUTURE MEETING
Wednesday, 20th October
Kathryn Alkins ARPS– Fine Art Photographer
Kathryn has developed a unique creative style which led to her being awarded her ARPS in 2020. She will share with us her successful ARPS panel and then go on to talk about the work she has developed since, still involving ICM (Intentional Camera Movement) and other creative techniques. For more information, see our website here: https://www.
